Native to the "Mata Atlântica", these small, endangered primates are rare gems of nature. At the center, a loving mama tamarin gently cares for her tiny baby, while other curious little monkeys watch the moment or go about their daily adventures—climbing, playing, and exploring their beautiful home.
Created using Procreate, this piece is a special tribute to a childhood drawing I made for a school project about golden lion tamarins. That old drawing remains one of my mom’s favorites to this day, so I decided to recreate it now, as a professional illustrator, to capture the same sense of wonder and love I felt back then.
